CHEM 1014 - Introductory Chemistry and Laboratory

 Notes

Overall Class Results

To all: Thanks, once again, for being a wonderful and engaging group. The grades are posted and from what you will see, exams in such a brief period are typically low on scores. I held all of you to the same standards on the exams as a regular course with the exception of granting all necessary time to finish. Having only a 3-4 days to prepare, exams are a matter of simple survival. To balance the exams, I was generous with lab grades and offered several extra credit opportunities. In the end, the class score average is above a middle C level, the benchmark for average.

Now, relax a bit and enjoy your break. I wish all of you the best in your career choices!
