Instructions for completing the online safety training
Required for all laboratory assistants

Please follow these instructions:

To login, follow this link: http://okcareertech.claritynet.com
Your login will be the characters "ft-" followed by the first letter of your first name followed by your last name.

For example, if your name were Jacob Anderson, your login would be ft-janderson
Your password will be "ft" followed by the last four digits of your student ID number.

For example, if your ID is *10061234, your password is ft1234
When connected, you are required to complete the following modules:

Blood Borne pathogens,

Fire Safety

Hazard Communication

This training must be completed for all new hires. If they are not completed, you will no longer be able to work in the lab until you have completed the training.

You will be paid for this training. On your time sheets, enter 3 hours of pay to compensate for your time.

I appreciate your cooperation in this. Safety training is most essential for those with responsibility and guidance in the lab. In the event a problem arises in the lab, your knowledge as to how to proceed could possibly prevent a minor problem turning into a tragedy.
